About Fowey
Cobbled walkways, unspoilt medieval cottages, winding streets and bustling quays make Fowey (pronounced ‘Foy’) a unique, ancient town. The famous author Dame Daphne Du Maurier spent most of her life here and a festival s held in her honour each May.
Regatta week in August sees the town transformed with competitive sailing events, a street carnival and a Red Arrows display.
