About Bath

Bath is the magic centre of the West Country. It is famous for having the Roman Baths, which are an amazing heritage site over 2000 years old, and for being the home of Georgian Architecture. Jane Austen is one of the more famous residents of Bath and there is much beauty and history to be seen here.
Within one hours drive from Bath is both Stonehenge and the Avebury Stone Circles, the Cotswolds and Tinturn Abbey in the Wye Valley. Bath is also surrounded by the most gorgeous English country side and there are many many trails and byways to explore here.

I always suggest taking the train to Bath. Once in Bath you can walk to all the sites (Bath is only 1/2 mile across) and you can take small van tours to neighboring sites.
If you come by car, I will give you complete instructions when you make your reservation.
