About Suffolk

Eye is a delightful place to stay with its magnificent Church, wonderful deli’, numerous irresistible antique shops and coffee houses, one of our favourite cafes is Cornforth & Cornforth. Eye also has an excellent Chinese take away and popular Fish & Chip shop, not forgetting the cute castle ruin. Having said that, it is surprisingly undiscovered.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside Eye itself has a lot on offer with quaint village shops, Eye town trail, ruins of ancient castle, good restaurants and take away.

Rural East Anglia offers a wealth of experiences, and a gentle pace of life – the perfect mix of soft rolling countryside, historic woodlands, ancient cities, charming towns, postcard villages, nature reserves, farmers markets, local producers, quaint coastal resorts and old-fashioned seaside fun.

Whether you prefer boating or cycling, ‘twitching’ or hiking, the ancient or the modern, East Anglia offers a varied selection of places to visit.

The historic cathedral city of Norwich and the University town of Cambridge, each present a wonderful blend of historic and contemporary architecture, suberb restaurants, entertainment and shopping facilities.

The stunning East Anglian coast offers something for everyone, from quiet unspoilt fishing villages, to fun-filled resort towns, sandy beaches and shingle shorelines, colouful beach huts and ancient abbey ruins.
