Chateau Marouatte is a stunning 14th Century fortified castle which has been restored as a unique luxury family home. Available for private hire, weddings and very special occasions, the Chateau and its grounds provide modern comforts whilst preserving a magical charm.
Set in the Dordogne region of Perigord Vert, Marouatte enjoys spectacular panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. The 240 acre estate includes a heated swimming pool, tennis court and many beautiful walks.

The chateau makes a stunning venue for holidays, celebrations and seminars. It has 12 bedrooms sleeping up to 23 guests and 7 bathrooms. The bedrooms are split into five different areas, each on a separate level or within a tower, making the chateau ideal for groups or families sharing.

The main accommodation is located in the Chapel Wing and includes a Dining Hall, Library and Kitchen. Up the spiral staircase to the Master Suite and up again to 4 additional luxury bedrooms.

The Cloche Tower is home to the stunning Games Room with superb decorative painted ceiling, wall murals and wood paneling and even more impressive Salle d’ Honeur, a gothic style living room with suits of armour and medieval weapons hanging on the walls. Upstairs is the Queen Mother suite – two identical, ornate bedrooms named after their special guest the Queen Mother.

The Garden Tower and Maidens Tower each have their own entrance from the court year and have 2 further bedrooms each, all with fantastic views.

Local events can be arranged including wine tasting tours and banquet nights in your own private dining hall.
