from the historic market town of Richmond.
With a mixture of privately owned woodland and ancient meadows to explore,
along with breathtaking views of the Swale Valley the location of the residences
is outstanding. They are perfectly positioned to discover some of Britain’s most
beautiful countryside including the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
The residences are located in a large open area on the outskirts of a wood and are
ideal for couples, groups of friends and families who want to escape to the country
and enjoy some quality time together.

Things to do
Aislabeck has a variety of resident wildlife and is ideal for exploring by foot or
mountain bike. It is located just a mile from the centre of Richmond where guests
can purchase guides for local walks from Castle Hill Bookshop or the Richmond
Tourist Information office. The popular walking & biking ‘Coast to Coast’ route runs
along the southern boundary of the land and there are plenty of local attractions
and events including Richmond Castle, a Georgian theatre, local museums, farm
shops and restaurants.
Other attractive towns such as Hawes, Leyburn and Reeth are close by together
with ancient castles, impressive waterfalls, picturesque gardens and a wealth of
other interesting places to visit.

Directions to this property

From the A1 exit at Scotch Corner, follow the A6108 to
Richmond.
Pass through the village of Skeeby and continue to the
outskirts of Richmond until you reach a mini roundabout.
Go straight ahead at the roundabout, through a set of traffic
lights and look for Quaker Lane, a right turning with a funeral
directors on the corner.
Proceed along Quaker Lane until a T-Junction, turning right
into Hurgill Road, climb up the hill as far as Gingerfield Lodge
on the right.
Approximately 50 metres further up the hill the stone entrance
to Aislabeck can be seen on the left hand side of the road.
