About The Property

The Parson’s enormous Cider press and fermenting house have been transformed to create the ultimate setting for a large Herefordshire house party…..

Take a step back in time. The history of the Parson’s ancient cider press and fermenting house is everwhere. The original 16th century cider mill is the perfect table for large dinner parties and sets the tone for the rest of this truly extraordinary building. There’s a gourmet equipped, handpainted kitchen with every appliance to make cooking for a crowd a relaxed experience. Children will love the adjacent snug out of which reaches a spiral staircase leading up to the vaulted-ceiling, galleried, king-size four-poster suite above.

The magnificent carved hardwood bed is dressed with heavy crewelwork fabric and hung with decorative linen panels. The galleried dressing area offers a view of the old wattle and daub gable wall and with polished wooden floors, cosy rugs and a comfy leather chesterfield, offers an attractive private sitting area. The separate en suite bathroom is fitted with white porcelain ware and contemporary chrome fittings.

Through the ancient oak stairway door from the sitting room and up to the second king- size suite, sumptuous drapes conceal the impressive four poster bed. A period style washbasin and stylish corner shower nestle under each of the bedroom eaves and a private W.C is tucked away out of view. Magnificent candelabra light the bedroom and dressing area and a balustraded gallery over the sitting room below offers delightful views out to the potager garden beyond.
