Set in 160 acres of farmland, Mesmear is a really quiet retreat, yet the surf-scene on Polzeath beach is just 1 mile away. A 15 minute walk from the property and you’ll be on the coastal path that offers the most breaktaking views and fantastic walking whatever the season.

Feel the sand between your toes on the soft sandy beaches or search for wildlife in the rock pools. In the summer the water sparkles turquoise and you wonder why you ever bothered to go abroad for holidays. In the winter with waves crashing against the rocks it can be wild and exhilarating – a real ‘get-away’ from the madding crowds.

Directions to this property

From Wadebridge take the road to Rock and Polzeath. Stay on this road for several miles (do not turn off to St Minver). Turn off left following signs to Polzeath and the Porteath Bee Centre. Stay on this road until you pass The Bee Centre on your right, the entrance to Mesmear is 40m past the Bee Centre on the left hand side.
