Rue Carpeaux is named after the famous sculptor Jean-Baptiste Carpeaux whose “Four Continents” fountain is displayed as a central feature at the Luxembourg gardens.
The apartment, which is located on a quiet street, is close to the Montmartre cemetery where the remains of the likes of Berlioz, Dalida, Degas, Stendhal, Truffaut, and Zola to name a few.
Montmartre is home to the Sacre Coeur church, Paris’ highest point. This area has been synonymous with art and music for over a 100 years. Walk the cobble stoned streets and take in the local color at a bar or cafe and really feel Paris.
